About This Product

The Armory Studioease Fast Shell Pack is Mapex's hybrid-shell answer for drummers who want a fast-speaking, punchy kit without committing to a full hardware package. Six shells — 10" and 12" rack toms, 14" and 16" floor toms, a 22" bass drum and the TOMAHAWK 14"x5.5" steel snare — are built from 8-ply Birch/Maple/Birch hybrid shells finished with Mapex's SONIClear bearing edge, which lets the head sit flatter against the shell for a wider, more consistent tuning range. The TOMAHAWK snare is a standout inclusion: a 1mm steel shell with solid Armory tube lugs and 2.3mm Power Hoops, built for cutting projection rather than a soft, buried crack. A TH676 double tom holder ships with the kit, and every shell arrives fitted with genuine Remo drumheads rather than generic stock heads, so the kit is close to gig-ready straight out of the shells. This is a shell pack, not a complete kit — cymbals, a hardware pack (stands, pedal, throne) and a snare stand are not included and should be budgeted for separately. Wave Music India sources every Armory shell pack through Mapex's authorized distribution channel, so the manufacturer warranty applies in full.
