About This Product

The Comet is Mapex's complete-package answer for a first full drum kit — five 9-ply poplar shells plus every stand needed to play, in one box. The 20"x16" bass drum, 10"x7" and 12"x8" rack toms, 14"x12" floor tom and 14"x5" snare all share Mapex's SONIClear bearing edge, which lets the head sit flush against the shell for easier tuning and a clearer fundamental tone than a typical entry-level kit. Unlike a shell pack, the Comet arrives ready to play: hi-hat stand, cymbal stand, snare stand, bass pedal and throne are all included, along with a 14" hi-hat and 16" crash so there's no separate cymbal purchase needed to get started. The single TH6215 tom holder offers full 360° adjustment for quick setup. Wave Music India sources every Comet kit through Mapex's authorized distribution channel, so the manufacturer warranty applies in full.
