About This Product

The SVP2 is Stranger's optical stereo volume pedal, built for players who need smooth, click-free volume swells or fades in a stereo signal chain — keyboardists and guitarists running stereo rigs, in particular. An optical sensing mechanism gives continuous, wear-free control rather than the potentiometer taper and eventual scratchiness of a mechanical volume pedal. Two inputs and two outputs handle a full stereo path through a single pedal, and a level-setting control lets a player set a reference zero position. An ABS molded housing keeps it lightweight while still holding up to regular stage use.
